Inter Milan midfielder Sully Muntari has played down talk of a possible move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Ghana international has fallen down the pecking order at the Serie A outfit under Rafael Benitez, but is willing to work hard to earn a place in the side.

Muntari has been linked with a move to Spurs on a number of occasions, especially since he worked under Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth.

He told skysports.com: “I am working hard to get back in the good books of the manager.

“Transfer time is in the market, so I am not talking about moving, we will talk around January.”
