Torino full-back Wilfried Singo has emerged as a target for Tottenham Hotspur this summer, and could be signed for as little as €12 million.
Ange Postecoglou is wasting no time in transforming the playing staff at Tottenham.
Within the first month of his tenure, the Australian has already added Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison to his squad.
It has been reported that Manor Solomon will be the next new addition to Postecoglou’s squad (Fabrizio Romano).
Meanwhile, the 57-year-old has also made it clear that he wants to add a centre-back to the Spurs roster this summer (90 Min).
If that wasn’t enough, it seems Postecoglou is now looking at other areas of his squad for improvement, as the latest transfer rumour links the club to a defender from Italy.
Spurs want Wilfried Singo to join the squad
According to a report from TuttoSport, Tottenham hold a firm interest in Torino wing-back Wilfried Singo, and the Serie A club are open to letting him go.
The Ivory Coast international operates in the right wing-back role, and contributed two goals and three assists in 35 appearances for Torino last season (Transfermarkt).
It is thought the player is “especially liked” by Italian clubs such as AC Milan and Roma, while Inter Milan are also circling.
The report adds that Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation, with Tottenham referenced by name.
Apparently, Spurs have “never hidden their appreciation” for Singo. Most notably, his current club are prepared to sell the 22-year-old due to the fact he has not renewed his contract, and while they want €15m (£12.9m), they could be tempted to ‘close’ on a deal for as little as €12m (£10.3m).
Spurs Web Opinion
We have an abundance of options at right wing-back, with great options in Pedro Porro, Djed Spence, and Emerson Royal. It is highly unlikely we would sign another player for that position this summer.
