Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Torino centre-back Perr Schuurs is now keen on completing a switch to England.
Multiple reports over the last week have reported that Schuurs, who had an outstanding debut season in Turin following his switch from Ajax last summer, has emerged as a top target for Spurs.
This includes an update from The Times, who claimed on Tuesday that Tottenham were looking to offload Japhet Tanganga and Davinson Sanchez, before bringing the Dutchman through the door before the window closes.
Meanwhile, GiveMeSport claimed on Wednesday that Tosin Adarabioyo is no longer a priority for Tottenham, with Schuurs now emerging as the club’s top centre-back target.
Perr Schuurs is keen on a Premier League transfer
Romano has now also backed up Spurs’ interest in the 23-year-old, stating that the Serie A star is one of the names being discussed internally by the club.
The journalist further adds that the Torino centre-back wishes to move to the Premier League before the window slams shut.
Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou: "We've to see what happens with outgoings, but the potential is there to bring in one more centre back after van de Ven" ⚪️

Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham’s transfer targets might have changed following Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich. I can see Spurs now reigniting their interest in Edmond Tapsoba now that their transfer kitty has increased substantially.
