Some Spurs fans have got excited by the fact that the club’s rumoured target, Perr Shcuurs, commented on the Instagram post by Micky van de Ven.
Van de Ven delivered an imperious display in his Premier League debut against Brentford on Sunday, leaving the supporters excited for what is to come from the Dutchman.

The early signs are that the 22-year-old will be a massive upgrade over the options that Tottenham had in their backline but the North London club do not appear to be done quite yet when it comes to strengthening their defence.
Reports indicate that Ange Postecoglou wants to bring another centre-back through the door (Times).
Schuurs is keeping an eye on Van de Ven at Spurs
It was been reported by various outlets over recent days (including GiveMeSport) that Shuurs has emerged as Spurs’ top centre-back target on the back of his impressive first season at Torino following his switch from Ajax last summer.
Shurrs has now responded to Van de Ven’s Instagram post about Tottenham’s debut, with the Torino star commenting with a fire emoji to his compatriot’s post.

It would not make sense to read too much into this as Van de Ven and Shurrs evidently know one another from their time together with the Netherlands Under-21 set-up.
