According to Serie B News, Tottenham are considering a double deal for Genoa’s Morten Frendrup and Radu Dragusin during the January transfer window.
Frendrup has impressed since joining from Brondby in the January transfer window but the central midfielder’s displays were not enough to save Genoa from relegation last season.
The Denmark Under-21 international has shone in the Serie B this season and his performances are thought to have caught the attention of Fabio Paratici.
Meanwhile, Dragusin joined Genoa on loan from Juventus in the summer, and the centre-back has been extremely solid for Alexander Blessin’s side so far this season.
Serie B News assert that Paratici knows the 20-year-old from his time in Turin and is keen on bringing the young defender to Spurs.
It is explained that Genao have the option to sign the Romanian permanently for €5.5m (£4.8m) plus €2m (£1.7m) in bonuses, with the Spurs managing director said to be intent on snapping up the defender, as well as Frendrup.

Given Paratici’s expertise in the Italian market, it is not surprising to hear that he is eyeing deals for some of the best emerging talents from the country.
The advantage to deals like these are that they are relatively low risk due to the low transfer fees involved but potentially high reward if the players go on to fulfil their potential.
However, the one concern with recruiting talented young players is that they need game time to develop and Conte does not seem too willing to give minutes to unproven players.
