London World have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea could go head-to-head for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer.
The report states that both the London clubs are on the lookout for a new number one, with Chelsea keen to upgrade on Kepa Arrizabalaga while Tottenham want a successor for Hugo Lloris.
The two clubs have allegedly set their sights on Onana, whose ball-playing and sweeping ability is said to have made him one of the most highly sought-after goalkeepers in Europe.
It is explained that the Cameroonian is valued at £40m by Inter and his salary demands are ‘reasonable’, which makes him an attractive option for Spurs as well as the Blues.
This report comes on the back of an update by 90 min last week, suggesting that Onana is one of four names on Tottenham’s goalkeeping shortlist, alongside Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, Brentford’s David Raya, and Porto’s Diogo Costo.

Onana for £40m is potentially a deal that represents very good value as the 27-year-old is a good shot-stopper, commands the box and is excellent with the ball at his feet.
If Tottenham are going to appoint a manager that looks to play possession-based, high-pressing football, the Inter star would be a good fit.
