Journalists have reported that Yves Bissouma will have his medical at Hotspur Way on Thursday, before signing a five-year contract with the North London club.
The Times broke the story this morning when they revealed that Spurs had agreed a £25m fee with Brighton for the midfielder, who has just 12 months left on his current contract.
Tottenham reportedly tried to sign Bissouma in January, before returning again at the start of the summer transfer window.
Lyall Thomas has claimed that the Mali international will have his medical this Thursday. Although The Times reported Bissouma is carrying an ankle injury, it will apparently not impact the medical itself.
Fabrizio Romano has also reported that Tottenham have offered Bissouma a five-year deal to come and join Antonio Conte’s project in North London.
Spurs Web Opinion:
This is being confirmed from so many angles that, unless there are any problems with the medical, it appears Bissouma will become Tottenham’s third signing of the summer. Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici appear to be moving quickly to give Conte time with the players.
