Tottenham Hotspur will be without Dane Scarlett for the match against Leicester City tomorrow as they continue their pre-season preparations under Ange Postecoglou.

This comes after the Lilywhites played out a 3-2 defeat to West Ham United in Perth last week, a match for which a number of players were missing.

Lots of returning faces for Spurs against Leicester

Charlie Eccleshare reported at the time that Tanguy Ndombele had missed out on the matchday squad due to a knock sustained in training, which was a shame as many Spurs fans were excited to see him.

It was also said that Heung-min Son, Eric Dier, Joe Rodon, and Djed Spence were not involved because they joined the pre-season camp later than the others (Alasdair Gold).

However, it appears all five players will be back in contention for the match against Leicester tomorrow, with Eccleshare reporting that only Scarlett is unavailable.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Seeing Son line up in a Postecoglou formation will be interesting, and I think Ndombele should add a little more balance to the midfield.

You would assume that Bentancur is the first-choice deep-lying playmaker when fit, and Ndombele is the closest like-for-like player in that regard.
