The print edition of Tuttosport (26/06/23 as relayed by Sport Witness) has claimed that Juventus are demanding €80m (£68.6m) for Tottenham target Gleison Bremer.
It emerged a couple of weeks ago that Juve would be open to cashing in on Bremer just 12 months on from signing him given their financial problems, with Tottenham credited with an interest in the centre-back (CalcioMercato).
Since then, multiple other outlets have also backed up Spurs’ interest in the Brazilian, with The Daily Mail suggesting a few days ago that the Lilywhites are at the front of the queue to snap up the centre-back, ahead of both Chelsea and Manchester United.
The report claimed that it would take an offer of £50m to lure the former Torino man away from the Allianz Stadium.
Gleison Bremer would come with a big price tag
However, TuttoSport have now suggested that interested clubs would have to pay a significantly higher fee and that any move for Bremer would not be easy since Juve are not overly keen on losing him.
In fact, it is alleged that the Old Lady have made it clear to interested clubs that they would not enter into discussions over the 26-year-old unless there is an offer of €80m (£68.6m) on the table.
Spurs Web Opinion
Bremer was never going to come cheap, given that Juve paid €50m (£42.9m) to sign him last summer and he was one of the club’s most consistent performers across the 2022-23 campaign.
There is no way that Tottenham would break their transfer record to sign the Brazilian.
