CalcioMercatoWeb.it have claimed that Juventus would be willing to sell Gleison Bremer to Tottenham for €50m (£43.3m) this summer.
The report states that Juve are now focused on outgoings rather than incomings as the Old Lady need to raise cash to offset their losses.
It is explained that none of their first-team players are considered ‘non-transferable’ if the right kind of offer is made.
Bremer is said to be one of those who the club are open to selling, with the publication revealing that Tottenham are keeping an eye on the Brazilian.
CMW.it state that Ange Postecoglou likes the 26-year-old ‘a lot’ and is ready to ‘carve out’ a place for him in Spurs’ backline this summer.
In addition, it is alleged that Bremer himself is open to a switch to the North London club as he is keen on testing himself in the best league in the world.
Spurs could land Bremer for £43.3m this summer
The report asserts that should Tottenham make an offer that ‘approaches’ the €50m (£43.3m) that Juve are demanding, the centre-back will leave Turin just a year after arriving at the club.
This update comes a week after Football Insider claimed that Spurs were ‘growing in confidence’ that they would able to prize Bremer away from the Allianz Stadium.
Spurs Web Opinion
It is clear that Tottenham are prioritising signing a left-sided centre-back at the moment, with one of Van de Ven and Tapsoba set to be signed for the role, while Clement Lenglet looks likely to be signed as a backup.
After that, Spurs will look to strengthen the other side of central defence, which is when Bremer could become an option.
However, I suspect that Tottenham might lean towards a homegrown player for that role such as Tosin Adarabioyo or Marc Guehi.
