In my opinion we have the ideal left winger in Gareth Bale. He certainly is not a left back as he cannot defend. Ekotto had his best season last year and Bale has one of the best left foots in the country. He can get forward and can get balls over. Also takes a great freekick, and is young into the bargain. Harry keeps saying we have no money to spend. Well, we have the nucleus of a very good side already with plenty of young talent in the stiffs. Why not nurture them like Wenger. We are never going to get into the top four, so why worry. Give them a try, I am sure they won’t let us down, so what is there to lose? As for Hangeland-I have only seen him on occasions, but he looks very good to me. Don’t forget though, that we still have Dawson, wo really has never let us down, and has had some really good seasons. So instead of going out and spending millions of pounds like we seem to do every transfer window, give the youngsters a chance. They deserve it.
