Tottenham Hotspur will take on German giants Borussia Dortmund, with a place in the quarter-final of the Champions League at stake. The Tottenham squad reacted to the draw in positive fashion with Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, and Jan Vertonghen all labeling the two-legged tie tough but winnable.
Now, one of BVB’s most experienced midfielders Mario Gotze has taken to social media to react to the draw.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder who has been there and done it in the biggest stages including the Champions League and the World Cup has warned his teammates that they have drawn a tough opponent and that the men in yellow and black need to play as a team to overcome Spurs.
Gotze took to Twitter to post the following tweet:
Tough opponent in the @ChampionsLeague. We can only win as a team 🤜🏼🤛🏼 pic.twitter.com/5VwtR6IJ88

Whatever the result, the game is likely to be a cracker as it features some of the world’s best players, and Gotze on his day can certainly be a handful for the Tottenham defence.
