What about decent centre half?
Ledley or Woody ain’t gonna play ever game- Dawson was only starting to look his old self towards the tail end of last year. need an “imposing” centre half i.e. Upson.

We should just stick with what we have for now.

We spend to many summers throwing millions left right and centre (usually on youngsters or unheard of foreigners) and we tend to do our business late every window, which means its disruptive to the start of the new season and we end up with piss poor starts like the last few seasons.

We would be far better trying to get the best out of what we have, Dos Santos looked good for Ipswich and was man of the match for Mexico’s senior side the other day, perhaps he should be given a proper go?

Huddlestone and Jamie O’Hara both have the potential to be great players but need more games.

The much maligned Darren Bent still has a decent scoring average, I still think he could have a really good season, he just needs the confidence.

Hutton, we haven’t seen the best of this guy, due to injuries. I think he is a fantastic player given the chance

And there are many more like this at Spurs

Its time to stop chopping and changing and make the best use of the squad we have.

This squad IMO could challenge for the top 4 as is, I really believe that.

Players need some stability. Sides like Bolton and West Ham operate regularly with a far inferior squad to ours but they get the most out of the players they have

Throwing millions of pounds for crap just to appease the fans isn’t the solution

Not overley concerned at present, we’ve been buying players every summer and the squad always goes through an upheaval and every year we start poorly – can’t be a coincidence.
I think we’ll sign one or two before the window closes possibly a striker to replace one of Bent or Pav but thats about it.
Bale can operate on the left of midfield and Full back if necessary. Plenty of Right back cover, maybe one more midfielder to cover the Zokora going.
The team showed they’re capible of being up there last season but for our poor start we shopwed top 6 form since Harry took over.
Who knows what we could achieve with a settled squad

Of course we need to sign at least 3 quality players. We need cover for Palacios for injury and suspension, we need cover for BAE, and we need an attacking/creative MF player, JJ is not good enough. Having said that I dont think Harry and Fagin intend to sign anybody. We will be chasing about in January trying to paper over cracks. With the current squad we will finish top 10, just.

If we only get one player this summer I hope its Young ! He is without doubt the player that can make the most difference to the team. If we cant get him then Gio should get the chance on the left, lets face it if he can do it for Mexico then surely he can do it for us.

I am still pretty confident that we will make some quality signings, although the longer ‘arry leaves it, the less choice there will be. Perhaps the most depressing aspect of this transfer window is that we are linked with every Tom, Dick and Carlos who comes onto the market. This is because we have have form when it comes to the transfer window.
Hopefully, we have learned from our past mistakes and ‘arry and Danny are just playing their cards close to their chests.

Yeah, but if it means the players we put out don’t play like total strangers for the first three months of the season, I’m all for a lack of transfer window activity!
