Bent isn’t a bad player, he just wasn’t the right type of player for us, not his fault. Bentley needs to concentrate more on his career if he wants to be a success. Sad if that story about his missus is true, totally unnecessary. Don’t agree that we should not have bought him at all.

I think bentley should be given a chance atleast until january.
He is not a bad player,otherwise we would`nt pay over Â£16 million for him.

Tottenham should never have bought Bentley with his Arsenal connection it is something that is not done. Just look what happened to Sol Campbell. What the papers do not tell us is that Bentley, his best friend and fiancee Kimberley was attacked about a month ago while having a meal apparently by Arsenal fans. Bentley is a smashing guy the only mistake was for Tottenahm not to do the correct thing and bought him. This should not have happened. I do not want to see him go to another club but I think it will be for his own best. We are big loosers with this transfer and Bentley is paying the price in a sad way.
