Italian journalist Alvise Cagnazzo has claimed via The Daily Mail that Tottenham will pay £21.5m for Guglielmo Vicario.
It now appears to be only a matter of time before Vicario arrives at Spurs, with Fabrizio Romano reporting on Thursday evening that the North London club had reached a full agreement with Empoli on a €19m (£16.3m) fee.

The journalist claimed that the goalkeeper has also agreed on personal terms with the Premier League side and is now expected in London to complete his medical.
Alasdair Gold has also backed up the £16.3m figure in his recent column for Football.London, adding that Tottenham are confident of getting the deal over the line over the coming days.
Spurs may have to pay extra for Vicario
However, Cagnazzo has now claimed in The Mail that Spurs will have to pay over £5m more than the reported figure to secure the deal, with the journalist suggesting that the move is expected to be worth £21.5m.
He also points out that it is Inter Milan’s ‘slow negotiations’ over the sale of Andre Onana, who they were planning on replacing with Vicario, that allowed Spurs to get their hands on the Empoli star.

As is the case with most transfer deals these days, the Vicario one could contain performance-related add-ons.
So, Spurs might be paying an initial £16.5m for the goalkeeper, with the deal potentially rising to around £21.5m if certain conditions are met.
