Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma is set to be the subject of interest from fellow Premier League clubs in January, according to Metro reporter Aden-Jay Wood.
The 25-year-old was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur prior to the transfer deadline, with the North Londoners said to have looked into whether a deal was possible (Sunday Mirror (29/8; page 66).
Wood took to Twitter to claim that Brighton did not receive any formal bids for the Malian international this summer.
It is reported that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all set to go head to head in the winter transfer window for the player who has two years left to run on his contract with the Seagulls and is said to be happy on the south coast.
I'm told there remains long-standing interest in Brighton's Yves Bissouma from several clubs including Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool. Bissouma, who has 2yrs left on his current deal, is happy on the south coast, but one that could be revisited in January. #BHAFC #ARS #MUFC

Tottenham made one addition to their central midfield ranks last month with the signing of Pape Matar Sarr, who will remain on loan with Metz for the rest of the campaign.
Worth noting that Brighton received no official bids for the player this summer. #BHAFC

Bissouma would be a good signing for Spurs, however, if there is already significant interest in his services, it could come down to a bidding war in January in order for Brighton to maximise his value before his contract runs down any further.
