Tottenham target Adrian Blake has rejected a contract offer from Watford and is now set to leave the club on a free transfer, according to The Evening Standard.

Blake, who first joined Watford’s academy aged nine, has caught people’s eye since making his senior debut for the club against MK Dons in August of last year.

The Daily Mail revealed back in March that Spurs are keeping tabs on the Islington-born starlet ahead of the summer transfer window on the back of his impressive showing for the Hornet’s youth sides lately.

TEAMtalk subsequently revealed a couple of weeks later that the Lilywhites are facing competition from Manchester United and Arsenal for the winger’s signature.

If The Evening Standard’s latest update is to be believed, Blake, whose current deal at Vicarage Road runs out in June, has turned down a new deal offered by the Hornets.

The report states that the youngster looks set to depart Watford on a free transfer and is attracting a lot of interest from the Premier League, as well as from overseas.

The outlet explains that Blake is contemplating whether to prioritise a fast route into a first team or to join one of the Premier League’s top academies.

Spurs Web Opinion

Blake might be wary of joining a club like Spurs or Man Utd as the pathway to the first team at those teams is certainly not well mapped out.

The teenager will probably be leaning towards a move to a club like Brighton or Palace, who have a track record of handing opportunities to young talent.

TEAMtalk have claimed that Manchester United are now hopeful of winning the race for Watford starlet, Adrian Blake, who is also said to be on Tottenham’s radar.

Blake, who first joined Watford’s academy aged nine, made his senior debut for the club against MK Dons in August of last year, becoming the seventh youngest player in the club’s history.

The Daily Mail revealed a couple of weeks ago that Spurs are keeping tabs on the Islington-born starlet ahead of the summer transfer window on the back of his impressive showing for the Hornet’s youth sides lately.

TEAMtalk have now stated that both Tottenham and Arsenal are watching the winger closely but suggest that the 17-year-old, who has three goal contributions in two FA Youth Cup appearances this season, could end up at Man Utd this summer.

It is asserted that the Red Devils are ready to step up their pursuit of Blake after learning that the teenager would be allowed to leave Vicarage Road.

Spurs Web Opinion

It appears as if both Spurs and Man Utd might be going head to head for several young starlets this summer, with both clubs also being named as the leading contenders for Brighton’s Evan Ferguson.

Appointing a manager with a track record of promoting youth players to the first-team (like Nagelsmann and Pochettino), would help Tottenham in their quest to snap up the best domestic talent.

It was The Athletic who reported at the start of last month that Spurs considered a move for the Senegal international during the January transfer window before they snapped up Arnaut Danjuma on loan.

The same publication have now asserted that Sarr is expected to leave Vicarage Road this summer even if Watford win promotion to the top flight.

The 25-year-old will enter the final year of his contract with the Hornets in June and it is asserted that he has no intention of signing a new deal.

The report adds that the forward came close to joining Aston Villa last summer in a £25m deal last summer and states that Crystal Palace have also kept a close eye on the player’s situation over the last few seasons.

Spurs Web Opinion

Sarr will perhaps view the failed switch to Tottenham in January as a dodged bullet, given Danjuma’s struggles for game time at the club since his move.

However, I believe that the 25-year-old will be an excellent replacement for Lucas Moura and he is likely to be less expensive than the likes of Allan Saint-Maximin, given the Watford star’s contract situation.

The report reveals that big things are expected of the 17-year-old winger, who models his game on former Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

The Mail explain that the teenager, who has one goal and two assists to his name in two FA Youth Cup matches this season, has now emerged as a target for Spurs.

The Islington-born starlet’s current contract at Vicarage Road runs out at the end of the season, thus opening up a possibility of a free transfer in June.

However, it is asserted that the Hornets are keen to tie Blake down to a new contract to ward off interest from the likes of Tottenham.

Spurs Web Opinion

Tottenham will likely not be the only Premier League vying for Blake’s signature if he does not sign a new deal at Watford.

The North London club’s challenge would be to convince the 17-year-old that there is a straightforward passage to the first team at the club, which would be easier to do if a manager with a reputation for promoting youth such as Enrique or Pochettino is appointed.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke has revealed that rumoured Tottenham target Ismaila Sarr would jump at the chance to join a Premier League club during the January transfer window.

Football. London’s Alasdair Gold revealed last week that Antonio Conte is prioritising signing an attacking player in January (along with a right wing-back) due to the injury problems that Tottenham have had to deal with in their forward line.

Fabio Paratici

The journalist named Sarr as one of the five attacking players on Fabio Paratici’s radar, along with Shakhtar Donetsk’s Tete, Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovskyi, Leicester City’s Harvey Barnes and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

Sarr, who has ten goal contributions in 24 Championship matches this season and also found the back of the net for Senegal at the World Cup, has 18 months left to run on his current contract at Vicarage Road (Transfermarkt).

While reporting on Villa’s interest in the 24-year-old, O’Rourke revealed that the player is extremely keen to return to the Premier League.

The journalist told ThisIsFutbol about Villa’s rumoured pursuit of Sarr: “He’s maybe not among the top targets right now, but if they’re not able to land those, I’m sure they might revisit a potential move for Ismaila Sarr, who I’m sure would jump at the chance of a move to the Premier League.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Among the five attackers that Gold named, Sarr would not only be the easiest to get and one can argue that he would also be the best fit for the profile of attacker Spurs need, given that he is adept at playing on the right of a front three. Although he plays in the Championship, there is no doubt that the winger is very much a proven Premier League player.

Watford confirmed on transfer deadline day that they have terminated Danny Rose’s contract, just 12 months on from the former Tottenham man’s move to the club.

Rose’s 13-year spell at Spurs came to an end when his contract run out last summer, with the experienced star penning a two-year contract with Watford, who had just been promoted to the Premier League.

However, the former England international’s move to Vicarage Road did not go as planned as he made just nine appearances over the course of last season, playing his last match for the club in December before falling out of favour with Claudio Ranieri (Transfermarkt).

It was reported earlier this summer that despite being contracted at Watford, the left-back was training at Hotspur Way in an effort to get fit ahead of the new campaign (Watford Observer).

Rose is now on the lookout for a new club after Watford revealed on Wednesday that they had come to a mutual agreement with the 32-year-old to terminate his contract.

Spurs Web Opinion

From 2014 to 2017, it is no exaggeration to say that Rose was on course to becoming the best left-back in the world.

I felt that he was better than Kyle Walker as not only was he an unbelievable athlete but he was technically second to none, which is why Pochettino even used him in midfield on occasions.

From the outside, it appeared as if Rose simply fell out of love with football and I would not be surprised if he hangs up his boots soon.

Former Tottenham defender Danny Rose is currently training at Hotspur Way amidst his attempts to leave Watford this summer, according to the Watford Observer.

The report claims the 32-year-old is training with Spurs at his own request while he attempts to seal an exit from the Hornets over the transfer window.

Contracted until next year at Vicarage Road, Rose endured a miserable campaign as Watford were relegated to the Championship last season.

The former England international made just eight appearances, with the last of those coming in December (Transfermarkt) before he fell out of favour under Claudio Ranieri.

Rose spent 14 years at Tottenham but had a rocky tail end of his career in N17, which was concluded in the summer last year.

He criticised former manager Jose Mourinho for failing to give him as many opportunities in defence as some of his teammates upon his arrival at Spurs in November 2019 (BBC Sport).

The Portuguese coach then froze Rose out of the first-team squad completely in the 2020-21 campaign, playing no games as Watford later picked him up on a free transfer.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is good to see Rose back with Spurs albeit for what is likely to be a brief spell after the tough few years he has endured.

Things ended on a fairly sour note for him but the fact he has requested to train with Spurs specifically indicates he still keeps the club close to him.

Watford midfielder Moussa Sissoko has named Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in his dream five-a-side team.

The 32-year-old joined the Hornets last summer and immediately earned a starting place for the Hertfordshire-based side after a strong start, followed by the captain’s armband.

However, the Watford skipper could not inspire the side to survive relegation as they dropped down into the Championship under Roy Hodgson’s watch.

With the club set to be playing tier two football next season, it is likely that Sissoko will be one of a host of names heading towards the exit at Vicarage Road (Watford Observer).

But while he is still on Watford’s books, Sissoko spoke with the club for a light-hearted feature which required him to pick his ideal five-a-side squad.

He trusted French compatriot and former Tottenham teammate Lloris to hold a place in goal after spending five years in North London with the 35-year-old.

Sissoko told Watford’s media team: “In goal, it will be Hugo Lloris. I played with him in the national team and at Spurs. For me, he is the best one.”

Alongside Lloris, Sissoko picked former Toulouse teammate Cheick M’Bengue as his lone defender before picking a midfield tandem of N’Golo Kante and Andres Iniesta.

He then completed his squad with Karim Benzema and claimed the Real Madrid striker has a good chance of winning this season’s Ballon d’Or, after helping Los Blancos earn a 14th Champions League title with a 1-0 win over Liverpool.

Spurs Web Opinion

Sissoko spent quite a long time at Spurs and he joined and left the club with his compatriot Lloris being ever-present in goal.

This did seem like a pretty easy choice for Sissoko given the pair were teammates for a while and also had points where they were in the France squad together.

SBI Soccer have claimed that four clubs have emerged as potential suitors for Cameron Carter-Vickers, who is currently on loan at Celtic from Tottenham.

The 23-year-old joined the Hoops on a short-term basis last summer and has excelled in the club’s push for the Scottish Premiership title.

Glasgow World previously suggested the Scottish side have an option to sign the defender for around £6 million at the end of his loan spell.

However, Celtic could face serious competition for Carter-Vickers should they plan on tying down the USA international on a permanent deal this summer.

According to SBI Soccer, Premier League duo Leicester City and Wolves are the leaders of four teams in the hunt for his signature alongside relegation-threatened Watford.

Meanwhile, Championship outfit Bournemouth, who Carter-Vickers spent a season on loan with in 2020-21, have also contacted parent club Spurs about sounding out a permanent deal.

Carter-Vickers has clocked up 36 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and tallying one assist (Transfermarkt).

Spurs Web Opinion

With his Spurs contract approaching an end this summer, it is likely that the club will push to receive any sort of fee to avoid losing him for nothing. The fact there appears to be plenty of interest in him is good too so it could avoid the club being stuck with a soon-to-be free agent.

Watford manager Roy Hodgson has explained why Danny Rose has not come into consideration for selection since he took charge of the Hornets.

Hodgson was appointed as Watford‘s new boss towards the end of January on a deal for the remainder of the current campaign, having replaced Claudio Ranieri, who was sacked after three-and-a-half months in charge

The former Tottenham Hotspur left-back signed a two-year deal with the Vicarage Road outfit in the summer as a free agent having left Spurs after fourteen years at the club (Watford).

Rose was frozen out by Ranieri in January, having reportedly been told that he would not play for the club again and was made available for an exit in the winter transfer window which failed to materialise (Sky Sports).

Rose is said to have been reluctant to leave and refused to be forced out, with one-and-a-half years still left on his current deal (Daily Mail).

Hodgson hinted that he would have liked to have called upon Rose, who is training on his own but the decision is out of his hands.

He told The Athletic: “I came in and was given a list of players.

“These are the ones we expect you to work with and Dan (Rose) was unfortunately not on that list and I was told he is training separately and is not going to be involved with the club.

“And I was in, and am in, no position to question that. I met Danny, as I know him of course, and had a brief conversation and all I could say to him was that this has got nothing to do with me, it’s you and the club and this is what has been decided and this is what I’m doing so unfortunately you will have to accept the fate that has been dealt to you.”

SpursWeb Opinion

It is a shame to see Rose once again on the sidelines, when at 31 he should be playing week in, week out.

The defender did not feature for Tottenham in the last 18 months of his contract and it appears to be a case of history repeating itself once more.

TEAMtalk have claimed that five different Premier League clubs hold an interest in signing Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, who is currently on loan at Celtic.

Carter-Vickers has been exceptional at Celtic Park so far this season, serving as a consistent performer at the back for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

It was previously reported the Scottish giants have the option to sign the centre-back for £6m at the end of his loan spell (Glasgow World), with some sources even claiming that the club have already opened talks with Spurs over a permanent deal (Sky Sports).

However, TEAMtalk have now claimed that Celtic’s option-to-buy clause with Tottenham is worth more than £10m including add-ons.

The report claims that the Scottish giants are interested in snapping up the Tottenham academy graduate but they face competition from a whole host of Premier League clubs.

Leicester, West Ham, Wolves, Burnley and Watford are all said to be monitoring the USA international’s progress.

In addition, three Championship clubs in Middlesbrough, West Brom and Bournemouth are also alleged to be showing interest in the centre-back.

Spurs Web Opinion

If Premier League clubs are showing interest in Carter-Vickers, then Celtic will likely find it difficult to sign the 23-year-old permanently.

The defender would be naive to turn down the opportunity to play in the Premier League (or even a top Championship club) in favour of remaining at Celtic Park, given the relative quality of the Scottish top flight.

Tottenham will likely hope to get a bidding war going for the centre-back and push the transfer fee as high as possible.

The left-back initially earned a consistent run in the line-up early in the season, but quickly lost his place in the side shortly after the arrival of Claudio Ranieri in October.

Rose has played just four games under the Italian manager – all in defeats against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City respectively.

His appearance against the Citizens was Rose’s last match for Watford and, since being included on the bench for the trip to Brentford on December 10, he has been left out of the last two squads for the home defeats to West Ham and Spurs.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is a shame to see how Rose’s career has gone over the last couple of years and he will now be on the lookout for a new club already.

We don’t know the reasons behind this quick departure, but hopefully he will be able to find another club fairly soon heading into the second half of the campaign.

Former Premier League referee Keith Hackett has claimed Watford should have been awarded a penalty during the 1-0 loss against Tottenham.

The Hornets were beaten by Spurs in the dying embers of the New Year’s Day encounter when Davinson Sanchez rose highest to nod in a free-kick from Heung-min Son.

However, the fixture at Vicarage Road didn’t come without controversy, as hosts Watford felt they deserved a spot kick when Hugo Lloris challenged an onrushing Joao Pedro.

The Spurs captain raced to the feet of the Brazilian forward and despite Pedro going down under the challenge, referee Robert Jones deemed Lloris to have made enough contact with the ball.

However, Jones’ decision to wave away appeals has been disagreed with by Hackett, who feels the official lacked the confidence needed to make the call.

Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “The referee’s in a great position. He’s had a whisper in his ear because he’s touched his communication kit.

“I think that’s a penalty kick. If I was Watford I’d be moaning about that decision.Okay, there’s a bit of action by the player but I do think that’s a penalty kick.

“It’s a tight call. Lloris has brought him down and that’s a penalty kick.

“We’ve got a relatively new referee on the list. He’s got to have the confidence to make the calls as he sees them. Looking at his body language, it wasn’t convincing.

“If he wasn’t going to give a penalty kick against Lloris he should have nodded his head and said ‘Come on, get on with the game’.

“His hand’s gone to his ear because he’s getting a whisper from the VAR to tell him it’s not a penalty kick.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Lloris did make contact with the ball, and it was enough to deviate it away from its intended destination past him. Then Spurs had a couple of big penalty incidents waved away by the referee. Ultimately, this was a case of an official lacking Premier League experience that was poor for both sides.

Antonio Conte has praised the way in which Tottenham dug deep to find a win against Watford but admits he wants to see an improvement against sides that set up to be defensively compact.

Tottenham needed a winner from Davinson Sanchez deep into second-half stoppage-time to claim all three points in the New Year’s Day encounter at Vicarage Road.

The visitors dominated the lion’s share of possession throughout proceedings but often couldn’t find the killer pass to trouble what was a resolute Watford back line.

However, Conte was pleased with the way Spurs managed to fight to grab the win at the very end, with the gap to the Premier League’s top four now down to just two points.

He said (via Football.London): “I think at the end, it was good to find a way to get three points. Against Southampton, we weren’t able to find the way.

“I think that during the game, when you create chances to score, you have to try to exploit these chances, especially in this type of game when your opponent is well organised defensively, with nine or 10 players behind the ball. It is not easy.”

Spurs boasted a healthy 74 per cent possession against the Hornets, which was an aspect that pleased Conte going forward.

But Spurs’ problems regarding what to do with the ball has also led the Italian to admit that he wants to see a better use of possession against teams that sit deep.

He added: “I think that we have a team that is very good if we find space to attack. When we find a team that they are very narrow and they defend very well with all the team under the ball, we need to improve.

“I know that we have space for improvement and also to improve the quality in the final pass.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Watford were very compact and resolute defensively which made it hard for Spurs to carve out many good quality chances going forward.

It is good that the side managed to grind out a win without playing particularly well, but the play against deep blocks remains to be a problem that needs addressing.

Antonio Conte has praised the performance of Hugo Lloris during Tottenham’s 1-0 win at Watford and backs the Frenchman to ‘find a solution’ with the club over a new contract.

Tottenham edged out the Hornets in the New Year’s Day encounter at Vicarage Road, but had to wait for a Davinson Sanchez header in the 96th-minute to secure all three points.

Conte’s men controlled the vast majority of possession throughout proceedings and were largely untroubled by Watford, but still had to rely on Lloris on a couple of worrying occasions.

The Spurs captain made an excellent save to deny Josh King early into the second half, while later rushing bravely into the feet of Joao Pedro to tip the ball away from the Brazilian.

Although the display was one of the quieter ones in Lloris’ long Spurs career, Conte was impressed with how the World Cup winner stayed alert to be called upon when he could have easily lost focus.

After the match, he said (via Football.London): “You can see the level of the keeper in these circumstances. When for the whole game he didn’t make a save but he continued to be focused. To be focused for the team, for me that’s very important.

“When I speak with him and when I speak to the team, the link between the keeper and the team must be very important. It’s very important especially when you defend very high, with a defensive line.

“The keeper has to follow the game and not only stay on the goal line to make saves. Hugo today showed that he’s top and he’s always focused.”

Lloris has entered the final six months of his current deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is now free to talk to foreign clubs about signing a pre-contract ahead of next season.

With talks of fresh terms allegedly in progress, Conte backs the 35-year-old to resolve his contract disputes soon.

He added: “For us, he’s very important and I’m sure that in a short time they can find a solution with the club [for a new contract], because he loves Tottenham and Tottenham loves him.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Lloris didn’t have much to do against Watford, but as with all world-class goalkeepers he was able to be called into action when he was needed. He keeps proving that he can still do it at this level, so hopefully will start to see talks of a new contract start to move quickly.

Antonio Conte has admitted that Tottenham’s wing-backs need to be ‘more effective’ with their end product after his side’s 1-0 win over Watford.

The Italian, who now holds the record for the longest unbeaten start of any Tottenham manager, had to wait for a winner from Davinson Sanchez deep into second-half stoppage-time to secure all three points.

Spurs dominated proceedings but could not find a way through a stern Watford defence that was keen to sit back and wait for the visitors to try and break them down.

Wing-backs Emerson Royal and Sergio Reguilon received the ball well in the wide areas, but were largely unsuccessful with their crossing attempts into the penalty area, with Spurs firing in 29 throughout the game.

Although a late whipped free-kick from Heung-min Son into Sanchez was enough to secure the points, Conte called for an improvement of the final ball from his wide men but praised the commitment of his players in a tough test of resilience.

Asked whether he was disappointed with the quality of the crosses, Conte said (via Football.London): “For sure, we need to improve in this aspect, because when you play with this system, with this formation, the wing-backs are very important.

“When the ball arrives there, we must be more effective. I know very well that this is a role where you expend a lot of energy.

“You become a striker, a winger when we are in possession, and then a right-back or a left-back when we are without the ball. But at the same time, we have young players with space for improvement.

“Also today I’ve seen great commitment from all the players but for sure we have to improve in many aspects, in the quality but we need the time also to work on this aspect. To play every three or two days is not easy.

“I repeat, I’m delighted with the commitment of the players. Another clean sheet and we’re showing solidity in this aspect.”

Spurs Web Opinion

This result could prove to be vital at the end of the season and it was a dogged performance to grind out a win. But Spurs were pretty wasteful when they had the ball along both wings – particularly on the right – which is something that Conte definitely needs to iron out going forward.

Antonio Conte has claimed that Tottenham deserved the three points following a narrow 1-0 win over Watford but called for his side to improve the quality of their final ball.

Tottenham claimed an important victory in the New Year’s Day fixture, but had to wait deep into second-half stoppage-time for a headed winner from Davinson Sanchez.

Despite dominating the majority of the ball, the win at Vicarage Road didn’t come in easy circumstances as Conte’s men struggled to break down a resolute Watford defence.

The Hornets were content to sit deep into their own half – inviting Spurs to attack – and were able to limit the away side to a number of low-quality chances.

Conte believed his side deserved to take home the points in the end, but called for an improvement in the final third going forward.

He said (via Football.London): “With these kinds of games, if you can score early then the plan of your opponent has to change.

“I think today we controlled the game and we had a lot of possession and in the first half I have seen the stats and we made 29 crosses.

“I think that we have to improve in the last pass, to have more quality because the last pass means whether you score or not.

“I think we were very good to have the right passion and not lose the balance.

“When you find a well-organised team you can become a bit nervous if you don’t score but I think in the end we deserved to win.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Spurs had to grind out the win for this one and had a lot of trouble breaking down the Watford back line.

A whipped free-kick was one of few options that would have won the game for Spurs, but ultimately the performance will need to be improved upon to avoid a future struggle.

Antonio Conte argued that Tottenham played a good game on New Year’s Day against Watford after securing a 1-0 victory.

Spurs knocked on the door without any true conviction for 95 minutes before Davinson Sanchez popped up with a very late header to put the visitors ahead. Conte claimed that while Spurs played well and controlled the game, they need to improve their final ball.

Emerson Royal in particular was guilty of some poor crossing, while Sergio Reguilon on the other side was also wasteful at times.

Listen to what the Spurs boss had to say below:

Spurs Web Opinion:

It’s the type of result you just take and move on. Spurs have a big problem when it comes to breaking down stubborn defences, especially against lower teams who don’t commit many bodies in attack. That is Conte’s next problem to solve.

Tottenham Hotspur left it late against Watford this afternoon in the Premier League as Davinson Sanchez nodded home a 96th-minute winner.

Let’s take a look at the five things we learned:

Huge three points – In what is becoming the race for fourth place, this was a huge three points for Spurs. Tottenham are now just a couple behind Arsenal with two games in hand and a fixture against the Gunners on the horizon. A strong January and Spurs could be in a great position. A second straight draw would have been a disaster.

Achille’s heel – It is becoming apparent that Spurs are very good on the break in a back three under Conte, however, they struggle to break down a compact and deep defence. As soon as a lower-table club puts ten men behind the ball, Spurs look void of all creativity or spark. Perhaps the best way to change that is through the transfer window.

Emerson’s struggles – Emerson Royal probably had more of the ball today against Watford than any of his previous Tottenham appearances. He was left free at right-wing-back for every single attack in the first half, yet struggled to provide any kind of meaningful cross. The lack of end product is becoming concerning and, while I like him as a player, I am now convinced he would be a better RCB than RWB.

Son better out left – Although it was only for 10 minutes or so, the change of formation showed us a different Son. He had spent the game trapped in the pocket and unable to influence anything before Lo Celso replaced Reguilon and the South Korean was pushed out wide. He got on the ball a load in the final few minutes, winning the all-important free-kick and delivering it to assist the winner. Food for thought.

Sanchez rising high – I have been very critical of Sanchez in the past. However, we have seen a lot over recent years that a back three can be the making of a struggling centre-back. Just look at Rudiger at Chelsea these days. Sanchez covered the space in behind Emerson really well today, while also getting forward to head home the winner. Great performance!

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to share their reaction after watching their side beat Watford 1-0.

It was a very afternoon at Vicarage Road for Antonio Conte’s side, who certainly made hard work of their victory and had struggled to find the breakthrough.

Harry Kane had chances to keep his recent run of goalscoring form continuing but came up against an inspired Daniel Bachmann in the Hornets goal.

The goal finally came in injury time after the game was delayed due to a medical emergency in the home section of the stadium.   Heung-min Son was felled on the left-hand side of the pitch and the South Korean picked himself up to whip in a pin-point cross onto the head of Davinson Sanchez to nod home from close range.

Spurs can feel aggrieved that they did not earn a penalty in the first half when Eric Dier was wrestled to the ground, but thankfully leave with all three points to continue their quest for a top four finish.

Here’s a selection of reaction from some fellow Spurs fans.
